That you really care

Even if you’ve argued

Tell them you’re still there

One day you will be sorry

When one of you are gone

Because the guilt will hurt deep within

And you won’t be able to move on

So while you’re both on this earth

Give friends and family a ring

Because it only takes the word “Sorry”

For old friendships to begin

From this day you can look forward

And don’t dwell upon the past

As the tears of joy runs down your face

For a friendship that will last
